Environmental and social issues

  • Environment:
We look after your textiles not only carefully and lovingly, but also in an environmentally friendly way. Our machinery is constantly renewed to ensure the best possible environmental compatibility as well as efficient and resource-saving processes. Our employees are routinely trained in the latest environmental regulations and we are subject to regular audits by regulatory authorities.

  • Social:
As a family business, the creation of apprenticeship jobs is a matter of course for us. Every year we train several apprentices in our company to become textile care workers. In this way, we provide our young employees with a solid education and secure prospects for the future. Our goal is to continue to employ our apprentices in the company. In addition, we ensure that sufficient skilled workers will continue to be trained in our industry in the future. We cooperate with a non-profit organization to support poor families in Eastern Europe. At our own cost we collect and clean any clothes left behind by our customers so that they can be put to good use by those in need. Our partners ensure that this help is provided locally in an uncomplicated, unbureaucratic and voluntary manner and that the clothes go directly to those affected. For many years, we have also supported PluSport, the umbrella organization for sports for the disabled in Switzerland, which offers children and young people with disabilities a wide range of sports opportunities.

  • Consumer protection:
As a member of the Swiss Textile Care Association (VTS), we submit to a joint inspection body in which consumers are represented. In the event of a complaint from a customer, this body verifies independently and neutrally whether the dry-cleaning goods have been correctly treated or not. This gives our customers a guarantee that our performance is monitored by neutral experts.

Further information can be found on the website of the VTS
